  • net start wuauserv
  • net start bits
  • net start appidsvc
  • net start cryptsvc

Don’t break this order; otherwise, the Windows update services won’t restart. Now, turn off the Windows PC, reboot it, and install the latest security updates. And, if the error remains, open Settings to download the recent SSU.
