At first, you need to go to the Search panel, type “PowerShell”. Right click on the search result to open the menu and then, choose Run as administrator option via clicking on it.

In the PowerShell window, type ‘Get-AppxPackage *windowscalculator* | Remove-AppxPackage’ to run this command and then, press the Enter button.

Step 3

Once the run is completed, you can see the Calculator application will get uninstalled from your system. Now, you will again reinstall this application in your device.

Step 4

After uninstalling this application, again type ‘Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}’ on the PowerShell window. Then hit the Enter key to reinstall this application.

Once the installation process is completed, restart your system and then check if the Calculator application works fine.

Solution 2 – Add a new User Account

Sometimes, this problem may occur with your current user account. Therefore, by creating a new user account, you can easily resolve this problem in your Windows 10 system.

Step 1  

First, go to the Search panel, type “add user” and select ‘Add, edit, or remove other users’ from the list. Alternatively, go to the Settings application, and then click on the Accounts.

Go to the Search Panel, type ”cmd”. Then right-click on that search result to open the list and select Admin as command option. Alternatively, you can press the Windows Key + X Key to open the menu list and select Command Prompt (Admin) option.

In the Command Prompt window opens, write ‘sfc /scannow’ and then press the Enter button. Now the scan will start. It will take minimum 15 minutes to complete the scan process.

Step 3

Once the SFC scan is completed, check whether the problem is resolved or not.

Solution 4 – By using the Command Prompt

If you are unable to run the SFC scan, then you can try this solution to fix this issue. By using the Command Prompt, you can easily resolve this problem in your Windows 10. Check the below steps,

In the begging,  you can press together Windows Key + X Key to open the menu list and select Command Prompt (Admin) option.

Step 2

When the Command Prompt window opens, type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth to run this commend, and then hit the Enter key.

Step 3

It will take 10 to 20 minutes to scan completes. Once the scan is done, check the problem must fix in your system.

Solution 5 – Update the Calculator Application
