Why Windows 10 Printer Driver Is Unavailable?

This problem mainly appears due to the incompatible version or prolonged use of an outdated printer driver on your PC. To Reinstall the Printer Driver:

  • At first, click on the Search bar from the Start menu, then type “Control Panel”. And click on the named option from the appearing list of results.
  • After that, click on the “Hardware and Sound” option. And select the Printer for which you need to install the driver.
  • Then, right click on the driver that you need to install and click on the “Run as administrator” option.
  • Thereafter, click on the Properties and select the Advanced option.

Step 1

Thereafter, press the Win key + R button both at the same time from your keyboard to open the Run dialogue box and write down “devmgmt.msc” in the appearing dialogue box. Then, move on to the “Print Queues” option. Then, right-click on the Uninstall device option from the Control Panel.

Once completing the steps from the previous part of the article, now press the Win key + R button both at the same time from your keyboard, to open the Run dialogue box and write down “appwiz.cpl” in the appearing dialogue box and press the Enter button. Fix 3: Run Windows Troubleshooter

  • After that, click on the “Make changes to my account in PC settings” option, then verify it.
  • At the next step, select the email associated with the account.
