Step 1: 

First, you need to connect the phone with the USB. When the connection procedure completes, you will be able to see an Allow access notification. Next, you need to click on Allow to proceed. After that, drag the notification shade all the way down. 

Step 2: 

Next, turn on USB file transfer and tap on it, in order to view the full preferences. Make sure that you have selected File transfer so that the devices can communicate with each other.

Now, you need to navigate to the File Explorer and search for your Android device in the section named This PC. You will be able to identify it by the model name.

Here, you will be able to see the Bluetooth option, turn it on. After that, click on Bluetooth or other devices. Next, choose Bluetooth again to start the scanning process. 

Step 3: 

At the same time, go to the Quick Settings panel in your Android device by swiping down from the top of the screen. Here, you need to long-press the Bluetooth.

Step 4:

Click on Pair new device, from the resulting menu and wait until your phone locates your device. Now, you have to confirm a security code on both of the devices. Once done, these two devices will be paired. 

Step 5: 

When your device establishes the connection, locate the Bluetooth icon in the system tray which is situated at the bottom right corner of your PC. Right-click on it and choose the ‘Receive a file’ option. Now, tap on the Next option to complete the transfer procedure. 

Once your device completes the data transfer procedure, you will receive a message which will notify you that the file transfer has been done successfully.

You will be asked to provide the location where you want to store it, so browse to your preferred destination and tap on the Finish button. 

Option 2: Using An SD card 

You can also use an SD card, in order to transfer files from your Android device to the PC. Follow these steps to do that:

  1. Initially, save the files to the SD card of your phone and then shut down the device.
  2. After that, eject the SD card and reinsert it in your PC’s card reader in order to view the data.
