    • Then, you should right-click on the file which you have just created and then choose the option “Run as Administrator.”
    • After that, you should look for access denied messages and if you don’t find it, then click on any key on the window for starting the reboot process. After rebooting, perform TEST.
    Before performing all the registry steps, it is essential to create a registry backup by clicking on the File Menu. Then, select the Export option from the top left pane to save it on your computer. Wherever any process of changing registry is involved, you can follow the given method:


Edit the following registry key for modifying permissions:

  • For that, you need to open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows key and R key

simultaneously.
• Next, type regedit on it and hit the Enter button to open the Registry Editor window.

• In that box, you have to type the value and then choose the option “Find Next.”
• Wait for some time until it searches the key. Once it finds it, you need to expand this key for finding the folder called 26.
• Once you find the folder 26, you have to click on the Permissions option and then click on the Add button.
• You will get a text box where you have to type “Everyone” and then click on OK.
• After that, it will grant you the full access; click on the OK button.


It will now allow you to run the file which you have downloaded as Administrator. Then, you can restart your PC and check if the error still exists.


Solution 4: Uninstall and Reinstall The Antivirus Software


There is a possibility that your internet security software might be blocking access to the internet. Thus, you need to disable it temporarily to check what is actually causing the issue. The best way is to uninstall it and reinstall another Antivirus software by rebooting your PC.
By following these steps, you can do so:


  • Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows key and R key simultaneously.
    • In the dialog box, type appwiz.cpl and then click on the OK button.
    • From the programs list, you need to find your security software.
    • Then, right-click on it and tap on the Uninstall button.
    • After that, you just need to follow the on-screen instructions to remove the program from your PC and then finally, restart your system.


Solution 5: Restart Your Network Adapters

  • Open the Run dialog box by pressing Windows key and R together and type ncpa.cpl in it.
