This is another important method that you should try. At first, you have to type “cmd” in Cortana of Windows 10 and open “Run as administrator”. In the command prompt section, you need to write  CHKDSK *: /f and press the enter key to continue. Basically, this CHKDSK command is used to scan the computer drive for errors and solve those errors. After that, exit from the Command prompt.

Process 03. “Run the Check Disk Windows 10 from Installation Disc/USB drive”

If you do not get any proper solution after applying previous methods then you have to follow this process. The reinstallation of the USB drive is easy and simple. At first, you have to insert the USB drive with your computer and then you should change the BIOS sequence for booting from the USB drive. After that, you need to choose the language and give a click on the next option. Then, you need to select the “repair your computer” option and select “troubleshoot” on the page. After doing this, you have to click the “Command Prompt” on the Advanced options page. When the Command prompt will open to you, then you just follow the process 2 for executing. Because the rest of the process is the same.

Process 04. “Run CHKDSK in Windows 10 using This PC”

This is another simple method to solve the problem and run the check disk. In this process, you need the help of “This PC”. At first, you have to open the “File Explorer” on the computer and choose “This PC” option. Then you need to give a right-click on the hard disk drive. In the hard disk drive, you have to perform CHKDSK and choose the properties option. In the “properties dialog box,” you have to choose the tools menu. When the tools menu will open then you can see an Error checking option which is saying “This option will check the drive for the file system errors”. Now, you have to click the check option from here for starting the CHKDSK process of Window 10. After that, if you see “You don’t need to scan this drive” is showing to you then you need to select scan drive option. Now, the process is almost done and you have to restart your computer and run the Windows 10 and in this way can run the CHKDSK or check disk in your system.
