After that press the Enter button, this will open the Internet Properties window. On doing this, Reset Internet Explorer Settings window will appear on the screen. Now, enable the Delete personal settings check box and click on Reset. Next, enable the ‘Automatically detect settings checkbox’ by keeping the other two unchecked under this Local Area Network (LAN) Settings window and then select on OK. After that close all the remaining windows and try to restart IE, to check the working status. Step 3: Check IP Address

First of all, open the Run command box by pressing both the Windows and the letter R keys at the same time. Then clear the text if any from the Run bar and type ncpa.cpl on it. After that press the Enter button which will open the Network Connections window. In this window, you will see your connection type (Local Area Connection/ Wireless Network Connection). After that, from these options right click on your Network type. Next, from the available menu list select the Properties option. Then press twice on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/ IPv4). From this popping window enable “Obtain an IP address automatically” and “Obtain DNS server address automatically” option. In order to do this, click on the circle beside these options. After that, click on OK and then again on OK to complete this process.

As this process gets completed then close all the windows and restart your system. By doing this, check the status of the problem. If it gets resolved then fine otherwise continue with the next step.

Step 4: Reset Windows Socket TCP/ IP Stack

Before starting this process, let us gain some knowledge on Windows socket. A Windows socket is nothing but a program which is responsible for tackling all type of network requests (incoming and outgoing). If there is an issue with it, then solve it immediately.

To begin with this, at first, open the Command Prompt window as an Administrator. For this, press the four flag WIndows key to active the Windows Search bar and then on it type cmd. Without pressing the Enter button, right click on the topmost search option. Then from the available menu, click on “Run as Administrator” and then on Yes to confirm.

Further, on this Administrator Command Prompt window type these below-said command one after the other. Remember to keep pressing the Enter button after each command.

ipconfig /flushdns

nbtstat -R

nbtstat -RR

netsh int reset all

 

At the end of all these above commands, don’t forget to add the commands mentioned below as well keep pressing the Enter button.

netsh int ip reset

netsh winsock reset
