3. Reset Winsock data

  • Change the View By into a category, and then click on View Network Status And Tasks. 
  • A window will pop up and you need to click on the Change Adapter settings. 
  • After that, you need to right-click on the Current Network, and then select the Properties option. 
  • Now, double-click on Internet Protocol Version 4 to view the Properties. 
  • Check the boxes to obtain an IP address automatically and use the following DNS server addresses. For the preferred DNS server go for 8.8.8.8, whereas for the alternative DNS server go for 8.8.4.4. Finally hit the OK button. 
  • Restart your computer and launch Overwatch to see if the issue has been resolved or not. 

7. Run the Blizzard’s battle.net looking glass

It is a Network Diagnostic tool that is used to test the server connection. The steps are given below:

  • First, you need to visit blizzard’s battle.net looking-glass. After that select the region and check all the testing items.

9. Avoid Wireless Interference

  • First, you need to move the router to a new location. It would be better if the router is in the centre of the house, the WiFi signals would be better.
